Our story
Late in 2018 Phil Messer asked his wife, Deb and four daughters if they’d be interested in working together to grow lavender at Four Sisters Farm and in the first 200 plants were planted in a test plot. Spring 2020, 2021, and 2022 brought expansion to the lavender field and there are currently around 2,070 lavender plants of thirteen varieties. As the plants grow and the business develops, we can be found selling lavender at local markets.
Of course, the “sons-in-love”, as Deb likes to call them contribute to this labor of love as well as do the 18 grandchildren who have all had a growing part in providing labor in the field as well.
